Hosting

Draft 2026-10: to be reviewed by the person responsible for data protection at InPerson Group before publication.

This website is hosted on GitHub Pages, a service of GitHub, Inc., 88 Colin P. Kelly Jr. Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA.

To deliver the website, GitHub processes the connection data that your browser sends with every request, in particular your IP address, the page requested and technical details of your browser.

The legal basis for this processing is our legitimate interest in delivering the website you request reliably and securely (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

GitHub, Inc. is based in the USA, so your data is transferred to a third country. GitHub is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (GitHub's entry in the Data Privacy Framework List). The transfer is therefore based on the European Commission's adequacy decision for the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (Art. 45 GDPR). How GitHub handles personal data is described in the GitHub General Privacy Statement.

Server log files

Draft 2026-10: to be reviewed by the person responsible for data protection at InPerson Group before publication.

GitHub logs and stores the IP address of every visitor to a GitHub Pages website for security purposes (GitHub Pages documentation, "Data collection"). GitHub decides how long these logs are kept; we do not receive or evaluate them.

The legal basis for this processing is our legitimate interest in a website that is protected against misuse and attacks (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The transfer to the USA rests on the basis described under Hosting.

No cookies, no analytics, no third-party content

Draft 2026-10: to be reviewed by the person responsible for data protection at InPerson Group before publication.

This website sets no cookies, uses no analytics or tracking tools and loads no content from other providers: fonts and images are delivered by this website itself.

Links to other websites, for example to LinkedIn or to the websites of our partners, only take you there when you click them. From then on, the privacy policy of that website applies.

Contact by email

Draft 2026-10: to be reviewed by the person responsible for data protection at InPerson Group before publication.

When you write to us by email, we process the personal data you send us, such as your email address, your name and the content of your message, to answer your enquiry.

The legal basis for this processing is our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). If your enquiry concerns a contract with us or steps before entering into one, the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.

We keep the data as long as we need it to deal with your enquiry, and beyond that only where statutory retention periods require it.

There is no legal or contractual obligation to provide the personal data. The only consequence of not providing it is that we cannot answer your enquiry.

Your data protection rights

Draft 2026-10: to be reviewed by the person responsible for data protection at InPerson Group before publication.

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

Right to object (Art. 21 GDPR)

Where we process your personal data on the basis of our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), as described above for hosting, server log files and email contact, you have the right to object to this processing at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation. We will then stop the processing unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for it which override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.

The lawfulness of the processing carried out before the objection is not affected by the objection.

Right to lodge a complaint (Art. 77 GDPR)

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the EU Member State of your habitual residence, your place of work or the place of the alleged infringement. The supervisory authority competent for us is:

Unabhängiges Landeszentrum für Datenschutz Schleswig-Holstein (ULD)
Holstenstraße 98, 24103 Kiel, Germany
Postal address: Postfach 71 16, 24171 Kiel, Germany
Email: mail@datenschutzzentrum.de

How to exercise your rights

Send an email to mail@inperson.group or a letter to the address in our imprint. No particular form is required.

We answer free of charge and within one month of receiving your request (Art. 12(3) and (5) GDPR). Where a request is complex, this period can be extended by two further months; we will tell you within the first month if that happens.

To make sure that we disclose your data only to you, we check your identity in a proportionate way, for example by replying to the email address you wrote from. We ask for further information only if we have reasonable doubts about your identity (Art. 12(6) GDPR).
